Instructions on measuring for tutus

When choosing the right size for your little princess there are a few things you may want to know before making that selection. You will want to measure around where she will be wearing the tutu for that perfect "waist" measurement. All babies and children seem to measure differently as each one is uniquely and perfectly made. Please know that each tutu can be tightened or loosened if necessary once it arrives. So...if you are unable to measure her I would recommend using the chart below to aid in determining the correct size for your little one. When measuring your child's waist if you come up with a half size measurement (i.e. 18 1/2") Please select 18" or 19" and just comment in the note to seller what she actually measures and I will make that adjustment for you. Please be aware that the tutus can be tightened up at the waist if needed. All of our tutus are made with a ribbon tied waist. This style of waists allows the tutu to be easily adjusted to fit her waist which allows the tutu to "grow" with your child to ensure longer wear. I send tutu instructions with every order that gives you the detailed steps to make those adjustments if necessary.

0-3 months 15"waist 6/7 length
3-6 months 16” waist 6/7 length
6-12 months 17" waist 7/8 length
12-24 months 18" waist 8/9 length or a longer 10 length
2T 18.5 waist 10" length you may also choose to have the shorter classic length of 8/9”
3T 19 waist 10" length you may also choose to have the shorter classic length of 8/9”
4T 20 waist 11" length you may also choose to have the shorter classic length of 8/9”
